A man from Fresno has been arrested after detectives linked him to two home invasion robberies and burglaries, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say on June 7, they responded to a burglar alarm going off near W. Adams and S. Cherry Avenues south of Easton.
Deputies discovered tools, electric bicycles, and other items that had been stolen.
According to deputies, property detectives began an investigation, and through evidence collected, 30-year-old Armando Castro of Fresno was identified as the primary suspect.
As detectives worked to find Castro, a home invasion robbery took place on June 18 near E. Springfield and S. East Avenues.
Deputies say a man armed with a gun forced a 75-year-old woman into a room and ordered her to stay there, threatening to shoot her if she tried to leave. The suspect collected several items around the house and eventually fled with the stolen property.
