Robert Graham A man is now in custody after police say he committed a smash-and-grab robbery at the Clovis Costco in February.
26-year-old Donelle Smith has been on the run since then and was recently arrested in Nevada. Smith had a warrant for the Clovis robbery and was already wanted for violation of his postrelease community supervision.
Police said Smith walked into theClovis Costco, smashed a glass display case, and stole about $15,000 in jewelry before leaving in a car.
Clovis Police Detectives identified Smith as the suspect, and their investigation led them to Southern California near the state line of Nevada.
